What should I put in my aquaclear 50 (29 gallon goldfish tank)?
I'm switching filters from an Emperor 280 to a Hagen Aquaclear (50). I have one goldfish( butterfly tail w/ normal eyes) but I might get another. What should I put into it (besides the sponge + biomax)? Thanks 
Sponge on the bottom, then floss, then the bio media. Save the carbon, you may need this in the future for removing meds. Carbon is useless after several days, so unless you plan n changing it weekly, don't bother using it.
Goldfish are messy fish, the floss will trap smaller particles, when it gets dirty just toss it.
