How can I install software on my computer when my cdrom wont work?
Hi,
I got a printer and I need to install it on my laptop. The problem is my cdrom on my laptop is broken. I have to use the disc to install it, it is not plug and play. I do have access to another computer, a desktop, and a plug in portable drive type thing with 1GB on it if any of that helps.
So is there any way Ill be able to install this software on my laptop without using the cdrom?

In most cases you can find the same software from the printers web site. It may even be more up-to-date.
You can dump the cd on an external device and install from it.
